STRESS-FREE MORTGAGE?

MSNBC and ABC7 News Taps GFM for Details

First thing that faces everyone looking to buy or refinance a home are the multitude of loan options available today, i.e.; adjustable, 30--year fixed, 15-year fixed, interest only, minimum payment, and so on. To say it can be overwhelming is an understatement!!

Moreover, the biggest worry most people share about buying a home is how will they be able to meet other financial obligations. For once, buyers have the best of all worlds available to them and that is the power to choose how much they want to pay toward their loan any given month. Gavin Fenske, President, Great Financial Mortgage, explained to ABC7 news how a new program, PICK-A-PAYMENT LOAN, actually can relieve the pressure of making that set mortgage payment each month. Fenske describes the PICK-A-PAYMENT LOAN as simply four different options available to the customer at one time: 30-year fixed, 15-year fixed, Interest only and a Minimum Payment Plan. “Simply,” he explains, “the buyer has the power and flexibility to decide when and which one of the four to choose from on any given month depending on their financial situation at that time.” For example, a client might choose a lower initial monthly payment in order to improve their cash flow with the option - minimum payment plan. The beauty of this loan is the interest start rate can be below 2%, is guaranteed up to 5 years and the increases are no more than 7.5% of the original payment. Take a $300,000 loan with a start rate of 1.95%. The first year monthly payment is $1101 – P.I. The second year the monthly payment increases $83 making the payment $1184, third year by $89 making it $1273 and so on to the fifth year. But should financial concerns ease during the months and the buyer wishes to increase payments to the loan, they can choose from the other three options listed above. The same is true in the reverse. If the borrower needs more cash and they have the PICK-A-PAYMENT LOAN, they can choose the minimum payment. Why stress each month to make that payment or be forced to refinance three times in a year? Pick your payment!

MEDIA WANTS INFO ON STOCKBROKER VIOLATIONS

Simple Process Can Recoup Lost Money

PRIME L.A. Public Relations president, Suzi Bruno, announces her firm's quick media placements of an important story for Nationwide Securities Arbitration Services, Inc. (NSAS) that gives victims of the 2000 stock market tech crash information necessary to learn how to recover lost money. Within weeks, Jeff Ferentz, General Counsel for Nationwide Securities Arbitration Services, Inc., headquartered in Reno, Nevada, was interviewed by consumer reporters, Ric Romero, ABC7 and Alan Mendelson, KCAL9/CBS2 regarding a simple procedure that can help investors, through no fault of their own, recover devastating losses.

Ferentz explains how often unsophisticated investors are preyed upon as an easy sale for brokers given all the word-wide publicity and hype on the future of tech stocks! But the real tragedy is millions of investors mistakenly filled their pensions, IRA’s and personal portfolios with stocks usually recommended by greedy brokers and the companies they represented.

Wounded by this experience and accepting the fate that had befallen upon them, investors simply shrugged off these losses because they were often too embarrassed to admit their lack of investing inexperience or attributed it to bad luck. Some were even reluctant to contact their brokers because they felt the broker “meant well.” Most suffered emotional distress because of the grave financial difficulties they encountered. Some lucky investors took action but most were unaware that in certain cases, they could have recovered their investment losses from flawed recommendations due to broker fraud, negligence, breach of contract or breach of fiduciary duty.

Ferentz has been helping investors recover their stock market losses for the past 25 years. In that time, he and his associates have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in stock market losses for clients, without ever going to court and having clients incur the horrendous costs and uncertainty of appeal of courtroom litigation. “We feel a responsibility to educate consumers about their options and rights to recover losses incurred by their broker’s mismanagement or inappropriate advice,” says Ferentz. While his track record is unprecedented, he cautions investors to be aware of the “Statute of Limitations” that may prevent the process of recovery from even going forward. “Investors need to know that they have to act now while the clock is still ticking and that they may still be within the legal time frame,” he said.

"PRIME L.A. will continue to broaden consumer awareness and bring to the public the latest information necessary to help people combat ignorance about the process of investment recovery," states Bruno.

PERMANENT MAKEOVER FEATURED ON FOX 11

Makeup That Lasts and Lasts

Ruth Swissa, “Let’s Face It L.A.,” was featured on Fox 11 Good Day L.A. for a Permanent Makeover segment on the show’s “Style File.” Thrilled by the quick work of PRIME L.A., Swissa, a licensed cosmetologist and renowned makeup artist, notes, “We just signed with Suzi Bruno’s agency and within a month I was sitting in front of a camera explaining how permanent makeup can change the lives of women and men.”

Permanent Make-up is a non-surgical procedure known as micro-pigmentation. Tiny droplets of custom blended colors are skillfully deposited into the dermal layer of skin to simulate natural looking or well-defined make-up. This is a selective art form where by the natural features of the face are enhanced and defined in the form of permanent eyebrows, eyeliner and or lip liner and color. The results are beautiful, immediate and permanent. (Touch-up may be required after a few years)! This is a growing trend especially for busy women, athletes (no more smearing when sweating or swimming), baby boomers who may have trouble with eyesight and for those who suffer allergic reactions to makeup (let alone the cost of cosmetics). Moreover, women and men are turning to permanent makeup for skin and cosmetic defects such as scars, birthmarks, sun damage, etc.

Ruth works extensively with plastic surgeons that refer patients to her for such procedures as areola nipple re-pigmentation, reconstructive pigmentation, scar camouflage, and treatment for vitiligo. She has helped many breast cancer survivors to gain a renewed confidence.

About Let’s Face It:
Ruth Swissa, Let's Face It, www.letsfaceitla.com, is a licensed cosmetologist, a certified permanent make-up artist, member of the Society of Professional and whose family has been in the aesthetics business for three generations. SOLVING THE PAIN PUZZLE IN A RELAXING WAY ON FOX 11 NEWS

Heard the saying, “it’s all in your head?” Well it is!!

According to the TMJ Association, 10.8 million Americans suffer from temporomandibular syndrome (TMJ). The condition is caused by an improperly aligned jaw, which contributes to a myriad of problems, including neck, shoulder and eye discomfort, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and most commonly jaw pain. Other symptoms may include: (1) headaches or migraines (2) vertigo (3) symptoms of Bell’s Palsy (4) stiff necks, tingling of the finger tips, etc. Neuromuscular dentistry seeks to cure TMJ by retraining the muscles, tissues, and nerves to properly align the jaw at rest. If left untreated, the jaw must work harder to perform basic functions, such as chewing or speaking and in turn may repeatedly injure the surrounding muscles.

Dr. Sid Solomon, Center for Cosmetic Implant and Neuromuscular Dentistry (CCIND) in Westwood, is a leader and specialist in Neuromuscular Dentistry. But don’t let the word “dentist” scare you. His understanding that the pain you feel is really in your head has lead him to convert part of his office into a dental spa in order to put his patients at ease and in a calm, peaceful state – a necessary part of the treatment. Featured on Fox 11 morning news, Solomon explained how head and neck discomfort can be treated without medication or surgery.

Treatment

For 50 spa- licious minutes, the patient sits in a Shiatsu full body-massage chair, in a darkened room lit with aromatherapy candles and the soothing sound of a waterfall in order to bring the patient into a complete tranquil state – an important part to the therapy. While relaxing, the patient wears a TENS unit (TENS is a battery-powered unit which sends electrical impulses through electrodes placed on or near the painful site). This pulsates the facial muscles to relax and loosen the jaw in order to register the jaws measurements at rest. If desired, a paraffin wax treatment is given to the patient during this time.

After the jaw is relaxed, a comfortable, magnetic headpiece is placed on the patient. A tiny magnet is placed in the lower lip area that sends signals to the revolutionary, new technology, a K7, computer software that allows Dr. Solomon to view and measure muscle activity and jaw sounds. This activity is registered on a computer screen’s monitor. Once read, Dr. Solomon can pinpoint EXACTLY where the misalignment is in the jaw and precisely create an orthotic appliance for the patient to wear. The entire process is 100% non -invasive and 100% relaxation.
